Our cat's name is Rebecca. The previous owners named her Valerie, but that just didn't fit. The boys both had the same girlfriend (in Head Start) whose name is Rebecca, so they wanted to name the cat after her. I usually call her Kitty. She "answers" to Kitty. If we ever got a name tag for her, I'm not sure what we'd use for her name. I guess we could put Rebecca aka Kitty. The way I figured, when a kid calls a cat and doesn't know the cat's name, they just say "Here, kitty." If she ever got lost, I'd like her to go over to someone who could rescue her and hopefully bring her back to us. She's an indoor cat so I hope she doesn't get out.
